Blizzard has revealed that it will soon be hosting a livestream, giving fans a deep dive into what's coming to Diablo 4 Season 7. The Diablo 4 livestream will also give fans a chance to ask questions about the upcoming Season directly to the individual developers at Blizzard.
Although Diablo 4 initially launched to positive critical reception, there's no doubt that the game was a little rough around the edges. In the time since, Blizzard has worked hard to refine the overall game experience, with big steps forward made in each Season to make Diablo 4 the best game it can possibly be. Nowadays, the game is in a much better state than it was at launch, and with Season 7, it looks like it will only get better.
Diablo 4 May Need to Come Out Swinging in 2025
Diablo 4 had quite a strong 2024, but the new year brings an opportunity for the game to get ahead of its biggest competition.
A post on the Blizzard website has revealed that the studio is hosting a livestream on January 16 at 11am PST, which "gives a preview of our upcoming Season" in Diablo 4. Fans will be able to "Tune in to learn more about the new questline coming with the season, changes, and more," concluding with a Q&A segment where players can "field their questions directly to the team." Fans have shared plenty of theories about Diablo 4 Season 7 since it was announced, so it will be interesting to see if any of them are confirmed in the upcoming livestream.
Diablo 4 Season 7 Livestream Coming on January 16
Players aren't exactly in the dark about what to expect from Diablo 4 Season 7 at the moment, with Blizzard having already confirmed several features over the last few months. Back in November, it was confirmed that Diablo 4 Season 7 is making a huge change to Class Quests, which should help make the game feel like less of a grind. The upcoming livestream is set to take place just a few days before Season 7 releases. Season 6 is ending on January 21, and it's expected that Season 7 will begin on the same day, so players don't have long to wait at this point.
Looking forward, it's likely that Diablo 4 will be supported for a very long time to come. Diablo 4 faces stiff competition from Path of Exile 2, and Blizzard will need to continue improving the game to keep up with its latest competitor. That said, even Diablo 3 is still getting new seasons, so there's no reason to suggest that Diablo 4 won't receive the same level of support over the next few years, especially considering its overall success.
