Developer Blizzard has revealed what fans of Diablo 4 can look forward to earning in the upcoming Season 7 Battle Pass. Debuting on January 21, 2025, Diablo 4 Season 7 is titled the Season of Witchcraft, and promises new content, activities, and rewards for players to enjoy.

With the launch of Diablo 4 Season 7 coming soon, Blizzard is ready to unveil more to keep Diablo 4 players engaged with the game. Unlike Season 6, the Season of Hatred Rising, the Season of Witchcraft will kick off what Blizzard is calling "Chapter 2" of the game's ongoing seasonal story. Players will be tasked with teaming up with the Witches of Hawezar faction, tracking down severed heads stolen from the Tree of Whispers. They'll also amp up their current powers by augmenting them with Hawezar witchcraft, equipping new abilities via the new Occult Gem items and defeating new enemies, such as the Headrotten bosses.

Players will also be able to earn new rewards as part of the Diablo 4 Season 7 Battle Pass, the details of which Blizzard revealed on the official Diablo 4 site. The Season of Witchcraft Battle Pass will have 28 levels available for free to players, with an additional 62 levels available to those who purchase the Premium Battle Pass, for a total of 90 levels of progression. The rewards take a variety of forms, with armor and weapon cosmetics available for use in the Diablo 4 transmog system. Rideable mounts, Town Portal skins, emblems, and emotes will also be available on the Season 7 Battle Pass.

The main reward from the Diablo 4 Season 7 Premium Battle Pass is a full set of armor called the Grand High Witch Armor. Looking like an iron statue adorned with snake-themed decorations and radiating mystic power, the Grand High Witch Armor makes players look like a supremely powerful member of the coven, regardless of their current Diablo 4 player class. For players on the free track, the Black Masquerade set includes five weapon transmogs and a set of Armor Basics roleplaying clothing themed around dress ball formal wear, as well as a title, Town Portal Effect, and Smoldering Ashes needed for Seasonal Blessings.

Blizzard has more prizes for players willing to shell out for the Premium or Accelerated Battle Pass tiers, though, including more armor and weapon transmogs, emblems, and Platinum to use in shop purchases. Players can also earn two Diablo 4 mounts and two sets from the Season 7 Premium Battle Pass. Called the Wightscale and Nightwinder, the mounts are both horse-like, but with a reptilian twist. The Wightscale has light-colored snake scales and a brassy finish on its saddle, while the Nightwinder has scales more akin to a crocodile or alligator, and glows with occult power.
