Diablo 4: Things Don't Look Good For Neyrelle in Vessel of Hatred
Things were already looking pretty bad for Neyrelle in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred, but some new lore paints an even bleaker picture of her fate.
Players Who Don't Own Vessel of Hatred Will Still Get New Content
Every Bit of New Content Coming to Diablo 4 When Vessel of Hatred Launches
There is a mass of changes coming to Diablo 4 with the launch of Vessel of Hatred that will affect all players and not just those who own the expansion. Based on what Blizzard has revealed about these changes, both newcomers and veterans may find it worthwhile to return to Diablo 4. The changes are as follows:
- New Max Level: 60
- New Difficulties System
- New Paragon Max Level: 300
- Paragon System Changes
- Item Quality Rework
- 2 New Character Slots
- New Class Skills and Passives for Each Class

In short, however, even those who don't own the Vessel of Hatred expansion will experience a version of Diablo 4 that is unfamiliar to them, as many of the base game's mechanics are being overhauled for what Blizzard hopes will be a much better experience for players. The developer states multiple times throughout its blog that it has taken player feedback into consideration with each of these changes, so Diablo 4 may very well be an entirely different game for everyone.
All Players Can Receive Free In-Game Items and New Twitch Drops Following Vessel of Hatred's Release
Alongside the changes coming to Diablo 4's base game experience after Vessel of Hatred's launch, all players will be able to receive three free weapons from the in-game shop upon logging in. Additionally, if players complete the Dark Citadel before November 8, they will receive the Reins of the Longfur Beast cat mount.
Fans will also be able to earn Diablo 4 Twitch Drops from October 8 to November 5. By watching Diablo 4 streamers on Twitch, viewers can earn Twitch Drops every week in the form of weapon skins, re-colors, and Back Slot items. Gifting or purchasing two Twitch subscriptions to a streamer in the Diablo 4 category will also net viewers the Ghost of the Conquered Mount, with four subscriptions granting them the Glory of the Victor Mount Armor. The full list of Twitch drops for Vessel of Hatred's launch is as follows:
- Week One (October 8–15): Ringmaster's Word Two-Handed Staff Item Cosmetic (Sorcerer), Wrangler's Hook Scythe Item Cosmetic (Necromancer), Guise of the Grand Vizier (Sorceror), and Guise of the Tombkeeper (Necromancer) Back Trophy.
