Diablo 4 has revealed four weeks of Twitch Drops, as well as a Support a Streamer campaign, to celebrate the release of the Vessel of Hatred expansion. From October 8 until November 5, players can pick up free cosmetics for the five original classes each week simply by watching their favorite Diablo 4 streamers on Twitch.
The release of Vessel of Hatred, the first expansion pack for Diablo 4, is imminent. The DLC continues where the story of Diablo 4 left off, with Neyrelle seeking a way to destroy the soulstone of Mephisto, all while introducing the new Spiritborn class and the jungle region of Nahantu.
Diablo 4 Confirms Vessel of Hatred DLC Release Times
Blizzard confirms the release date and times for the launch of Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred, giving fans a chance to prepare for the expansion's release.
To celebrate the major release, Diablo 4 is holding not one, but four weeks of Twitch Drops for fans to collect. Starting with the launch of Vessel of Hatred on October 8, players who watch six hours of Diablo 4 on Twitch can earn weapons and back trophy transmogs for the Sorcerer and Necromancer. The next three weeks will each cycle through new rewards for the other three original Diablo 4 classes: Barbarian on week two, Rogue on week three, and Druid on week four. Fans will need to be sure to watch six hours every week if they want to earn all of these cosmetics.
How to Get Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred Twitch Drops
-
Connect one’s Battle.net with their Twitch account, then watch any streamer in the Diablo 4 category each week to earn the following rewards:
-
Week 1 – October 8 at 10 AM PDT to October 15 at 9:59 AM PDT
- Three hours: Ringmaster’s Word staff for Sorcerer and Wrangler’s Hook one-handed scythe for Necromancer
- Six hours: Guise of the Grand Vizier and Guise of the Tombkeeper back trophies for Sorcerer and Necromancer respectively
-
Week 2 – October 15 at 10 AM PDT to October 23 at 9:59 AM PDT
- Three hours: Competitor’s Pride two-handed axe for Barbarian
- Six hours: Guise of the Gladiator Barbarian back trophy
-
Week 3 – October 23 at 10 AM PDT to October 29 at 9:59 AM PDT
- Three hours: Executioner’s Reach bow for Rogue
- Six hours: Guise of the Eaglecaller Rogue back trophy
-
Week 4 – October 29 at 10 AM PDT to November 5 at 9:59 AM PDT
- Three hours: Battlecaller’s Crook staff for Druid
- Six hours: Guise of the Beastlord Druid back trophy
-
Week 1 – October 8 at 10 AM PDT to October 15 at 9:59 AM PDT
-
Purchase gift subscriptions for any Diablo 4 streamers on Twitch any time from October 8 through November 5 to earn the following rewards:
- Two subscriptions: Ghost of the Conquered mount
- Four subscriptions: Glory of the Victor mount armor
These transmogs aren’t the only Twitch rewards players can get during this time. At any point during the four weeks, fans who gift two Twitch subscriptions for any streamers in the Diablo 4 category will earn the Ghost of the Conquered mount. Gifting a total of four will also unlock the matching Glory of the Victor mount armor in Diablo 4, allowing players to ride into Nahantu in style.
While Diablo 4 fans will never say no to free transmogs, the ones available for the Vessel of Hatred Twitch Drops look impressive. The weapons are unique, but not over-the-top, allowing them to easily match many transmogs, and the back trophies are the perfect accessories for outfits inspired by the iconic jungles of Nahantu in Diablo 4. The weapons also come in both Jungle Moss and Twitch Purple recolors, making them even more visually versatile.
Unfortunately, these Twitch Drops do not include a weapon for the new Spiritborn class. However, Diablo 4 players who buy qualifying Trolli products can pick up a weapon transmog referred to as the Wyrmcutter. While fans won’t know exactly what this item looks like until Vessel of Hatred releases, most believe it to be a Spiritborn Glaive.
