In Digimon Story: Time Stranger, there's a rare item called Immortal Egg that players will need to craft the highest-grade of Equipment for their Digimon, as well as some of the evolution items needed to access powerful Partners like Magnamon or Rapidmon. But this item is incredibly rare, and there are only a few of them handled as rewards through the Main Story and Secondary Missions.
So, if players want to have more Immortal Eggs to craft items such as the Digi-Egg of Miracles, the War God Brass Knuckles, and other powerful equipment to help their Agents beat the most difficult bosses in the game, then look no further. This comprehensive guide will teach them all about random encounters, how to trigger them, and which Digimon drops the precious Immortal Eggs.
Where to Find Immortal Egg in Digimon Story: Time Stranger
One of the first Immortal Eggs players find in Digimon Story: Time Stranger is handled by Nanimon, when the Agent heads to the Factorial Area in Illiad. Saving Nanimon requires Aegiomon to get into one of the ventilation ducts in the Factory during the Incoming Conflict Main Story Mission. The second Immortal Egg comes much later in the game, also obtained in the Factorial Area while players are completing the Secondary Mission called The Greatest OMNI Carnival, which involves battling several teams of Digimon at the Paradise Colosseum. Still, there's yet another method to get Immortal Eggs, and these can be farmed.
This method consists of finding the elusive Digitamamon, which, alongside the likes of PlanitumNumemon, BlackKingNumemon, and GoldNumemon, are random encounters. However, there are three places where Digitamamon can spawn more frequently, and each of them is associated with an area that players will visit a lot throughout their journey around the Digital World.
How to Find Digitamamon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger
Digitamamon's spawning area is absolutely random, so players might find it in any encounter. However, there are four spots where Digitamamon is more likely to appear if players stick around and battle Digimon in the area. Here are some spawning spots to farm Immortal Eggs in the Early, Mid, and Late game:
- Early-Mid Game: The first area players should visit if they want to find Digitamamon is the Abyss Area, where there are a lot of ShellNumemon roaming around. This area is also a spawning spot for PlatinumNumemon, so if players are looking to make a lot of extra EXP, this is the spot.
- Mid-Game: Next, players should look around areas like Central Town's sewers, as these are more easy to reset and bring out more Digimon to fight. The secret of Random Encounters is repetition, so this is a good spot to try and force-spawn Digitamamon.
- Mid-Late Game: Later in the game, players get access to the Gear Forest area. The Floating Islands have a platform where Deramon spawns, and facing it in combat might cause Digitamamon to spawn.
- Late-Game: Another likely location where players can find Digitamamon is in the Cosmic Area, in the Chill Cosmic Crescent Moon zone to be more precise. Players can also try their luck with the endless Penmon spawn there, as it is a decent way to auto farm EXP, Data, or, in this case, Immortal Eggs.
