Digimon Story: Time Stranger November Update Introduces 40+ Bug Fixes
Another update was released on November 5, launching simultaneously across all versions of the game. The accompanying changelog lists over 40 items, most of which are bug fixes. A significant number address issues with Digimon Story: Time Stranger missions, primarily scripting bugs that blocked progression. The list of fixed quests includes Reunions Bring Trouble, Gathering Storm Clouds, and Resonating Thoughts.
Outside the main path, the early November patch fixes issues with side missions such as The Worthy, Olympos XII’s Test Match, and From Pegasusmon to the World. Among the resolved bugs are missing prompts, misplaced NPCs, and a peculiar invincibility glitch triggered by defeating certain enemies in a specific order. Several minor bugs affecting the final boss battle have been fixed as well. The official changelog provides more detail, though it contains potential spoilers, so players who haven’t yet beaten Digimon Story: Time Stranger may want to avoid reading it.
The November 2025 patch is identified by version number 1.6.1.0 on the Xbox Series X/S and 20597123 on Steam. Conversely, Digimon fans on the PlayStation 5 will see it as update 01.000.005. By default, the patch should be downloaded automatically on any system. It's not required to continue playing the game, but Bandai Namco recommends installing it as soon as possible. In addition to bug fixes, the changelog attached to the new patch mentions "usability improvements," as well as minor visual changes affecting character models, backgrounds, and text.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger is likely to continue receiving bug-fixing updates in the coming months. In parallel, developer Media Vision is also working on new content, including a trio of so-called episode packs featured in the game's $29.99 season pass. The first two bundles are scheduled to launch in Q1 2026, with Episode Pack 3 targeting a Q2 release. Each pack will be accompanied by five additional Digivolution routes for Mega Digimon.
