As announced by GOG via Twitter, both Dino Crisis 1 and 2 are now available on PC as part of the GOG Preservation Program. This initiative ensures the titles remain accessible and playable on modern PC systems permanently, not just for a limited time. Players can purchase the games individually or as a discounted bundle. Both versions are optimized for modern hardware and include new features, such as quality-of-life improvements, enhanced DirectX rendering, and fixes for stability, transparency, and saving.

The upcoming PlayStation 5 horror game Code Violet has been dubbed by its developer as the “spiritual successor” to the legendary dinosaur game. What's more, the 2023 release Dinobreak also displays many similar themes to the game, but not to the extent that Code Violet appears to have borrowed.
