The new feature has been successful so far. Players have been creating and sharing their pictures as well as competing in related challenges. Earlier this month, a Dreamlight Valley player unveiled their prize for first place in the DreamSnaps challenge and more competitions and prizes are sure to come in the future. Of course, new updates can often introduce new bugs or issues that need to be fixed after release. It seems that the DreamSnaps feature is no exception and Gameloft is now patching out the problems that have cropped up.

A new update, released on August 14, is patching in fixes for numerous bugs and issues that have mostly arisen since the release of the DreamSnaps update. Problems addressed include DreamSnaps rewards mistakenly appearing for sale at Scrooge McDuck's store, an issue with the DreamSnaps voting queue, and player-houses sometimes being emptied after the DreamSnaps update. Hopefully, this update should make for a smoother experience for players currently enjoying Disney Dreamlight Valley.

While not every bug appears to be directly related DreamSnap content, the patch notes make clear that the hotfix is specifically targeted at problems that have been reported since the feature was added. It may not be the most exciting change so far, adding no new content to the game, but patches like this are necessary as the title moves towards its official release.
