To trigger A Storm of Stories quest in DDV, players need to claim the mail sent by The Lorekeeper and travel to Storybook Vale. Speak with her to find out that a strange sickness has spread around the vale and afflicted Hades, Flynn, and Merida. Talk with the Brave character first and follow her to a mysterious whirlwind. Upon investigating it, a bunch of Shadowy Bird Snippets emerge. Catch them using the Royal Net and then grab the Mysterious Story Page and give it to Merida to heal her.

Players now must repeat the same steps with Flynn and then Hades. Talk with them, follow the characters to the whirlwind, catch the Shadowy Frog Snippets with Flynn and the Shadowy Dragon Snippets with Hades, and give them their Story Pages. Next, speak with The Lorekeeper to use the Shadowy Snippets you caught to figure out what happened to Maleficent.

How To Arrange The Tiles In The Library Of Lore In DDV - Disney Dreamlight Valley

After discovering that Maleficent is in The Unwritten Realms, Dreamers must arrange the tiles on the floor of the Library of Lore in DDV to open a portal. There are three levers to interact with; the western, middle, and eastern levers. Players need to use all of them to rotate the tiles and create a complete image of Maleficent. To easily arrange the tiles of the Library of Lore, pull the western lever three times, the middle one twice, and the eastern lever once.

Once the picture is complete, an open book appears and will act as a door to The Unwritten Realms. This will end A Storm of Stories quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley and activate the Maleficent's Gift quest.
