How to Complete Back From The Bayou in Dreamlight Valley
To complete the quest, Dreamers can follow these steps:
Talk to Tiana and Place Her Palace
Start the quest by speaking with Tiana. She'll tell you about her plans to reopen Tiana’s Palace in the valley but needs your help choosing a place. So after the chat, go to your furniture mode to find the palace and put it wherever you like. Dreamers can put it in any biome, but it requires quite a lot of space.
Collect Materials for Tiana’s Meal Stall
After placing Tiana’s Palace and talking with her inside, the protagonist will find out that the Frog Princess wants to make a Meal Stall where villagers can relax and enjoy her new recipes. So your next step is to help her set up that stall.
Here are the resources you need to gather:
- 15 x Glass
- 5 x Brick
- 10 x Hardwood
- 25 x Softwood
Players will need five Sand and one Coal Ore. Bricks are made from five Clay and one Coal Ore. You can get Hardwood in the Forest of Valor and Sunlit Plateau, and Softwood can be picked up from the ground in the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow biomes. If you are short on any of these materials, you can also check Kristoff’s Stall, as he sometimes has them in stock.
Craft and Place Tiana’s Meal Stall
With all the items in your backpack, go to any crafting station in the valley. In the 'Functional Items' tab, look for Tiana's Meal Stall and craft it.
After it's crafted, place it outside Tiana’s Palace. But you're not done yet; you'll also need to buy a meal from the stall. Just go to the stall and buy any meal, and you will complete this step.
When the player checks back with Tiana, she asks them to invite Mother Gothel, Moana, and Remy to her stall’s opening. So find each of them in the valley and let them know about the event.
Craft Bistro Tables and Chairs
Now, Tiana will ask you to craft outdoor furniture for her guests. You'll need to get the following items to make Bistro Tables and Chairs:
- 30 x Softwood
- 24 x Hardwood
- 18 x Fiber
- 9 x Green Rising Penstemons
As mentioned earlier, you can find Softwood in the Plaza and Hardwood in the Sunlit Plateau. Fiber is made from Seaweed, which you can catch while fishing in open waters. The Green Rising Penstemon grows on the ground in Peaceful Meadow.
After making the Bistro Tables and Chairs at a nearby crafting station, place them outside Tiana’s Palace. Now talk with her to get the Inauguration Ribbon and place it in front of her meal stall. Take a selfie to join the celebration, and lastly, talk to all guests to end the quest.
