During the Bring Your Own Carpet quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will unlock the ability to ride a Magic Carpet thanks to Aladdin. Although Dreamers have already ridden the original Magic Carpet during the Carpet Diem quest, it's unlocked as a companion only.

Bring Your Own Carpet Quest In DDV - Disney Dreamlight Valley

Once Aladdin reaches friendship level four, the Bring Your Own Carpet quest will be triggered in DDV. Additionally, make sure Minnie is unlocked as a villager as she will play a major part during this quest. Aladdin will ask if you wish to have your own Magic Carpet to take a ride around the village.

Upon agreeing, he sends you to Merlin to ask about some of the magic aspects concerning the flying carpet. The Most Powerful Wizard guides you to the Dreamlight Library, his home, to search for some relevant books that will help explain the concept. Interact with the sparkly corners to get three items and give them to Aladdin. Afterward, he said he'd take care of it, so in the meantime, Dreamers should head over to Minnie's and ask if she could sew a carpet.

Dreamshard x4: Obtained from removing Night Thorns, feeding critters their favorite food, and digging sparkling spots.

Fiber x25: Create Fiber at the crafting station using Seaweed.

Head to Aladdin's house and make sure all the materials are in your inventory when giving them to him. After that, Aladdin gives Dreamers a Magic Scroll to infuse with the carpet.

How To Ride The Magic Carpet In DDV - Disney Dreamlight Valley

After obtaining your own Magic Carpet, Aladdin guides you to Dreamlight Castle and reveals a surprise. He has prepared a tour for you to ride the Magic Carpet and explore the valley from a new perspective. To equip the Magic Carpet glider, open the Wardrobe and choose the Dreamlight Magic Carpet under the Gliders category. Now, each time you want to use Energy to move faster, players will ride on a Magic Carpet.

To complete the tour, make sure to ride under the banners mentioned in the quest menu, and you will eventually arrive at the docks in Dazzle Beach. Speak with Aladdin one last time to complete the Bring Your Own Carpet quest in DDV.
