Once Dreamers welcome Alice to the valley, they will be able to do her friendship quests as they level up their relationship with her. After helping her find the hidden treasure in the Mimsy Were the Borogoves quest and reaching friendship level 7, you’ll unlock a new quest called A Fractured Glass.

In the A Fractured Glass quest, you find Alice in a very unusual situation, and it’s your job to figure out what’s going on. But don’t worry because there’s always a way to fix things in Dreamlight Valley. Here’s a quick look at how you can complete the quest and help Alice out.

How to Complete the A Fractured Glass Quest in Dreamlight Valley

Since A Fractured Glass is a level seven quest, players will need to reach friendship level seven with Alice to unlock it.

Talk to Alice and the Villagers

After unlocking the quest, the saviors need to talk to Alice to kick things off. She’s unusually cheerful, so much so that it feels a little off. She even says it’s great that Olaf dropped his book in the mud.

She also mentions she’s been learning things from Scrooge and Mother Gothel. That’s your cue to check in with Scrooge, Mother Gothel, and Olaf to see what they think. Each of them will share what they think about Alice’s behavior. After that, it’s time to head to Alice’s house and see what’s really going on.

Make Ice Creams for Sad Alice

When saviors look around Alice’s house, they will find something unexpected: another version of Alice hiding inside a tiny teapot. This one’s really sad and doesn’t feel like talking, so you go back and check in with the cheerful Alice. She says she doesn’t want to think about sad things but suggests that ice cream might cheer Sad Alice up. So now you have to make different ice creams for Sad Alice:

Banana Ice Cream

  • 1 x Milk
  • 1 x Slush Ice
  • 1 x Sugarcane
  • 1 x Banana

Chocolate Ice Cream

  • 1 x Milk
  • 1 x Slush Ice
  • 1 x Sugarcane
  • 1 x Cocoa Bean

Vanilla Ice Cream

  • 1 x Milk
  • 1 x Slush Ice
  • 1 x Sugarcane
  • 1 x Vanilla.

After giving the ice creams to Sad Alice, she’ll grow a little and finally open up to you. She will explain that the whole situation started because of the Kaleidoscope from the Mimsy Were the Borogoves quest when she was playing around in Scrooge’s store.

Clean Scrooge’s Store and Collect Flowers

Now head over to Scrooge’s store and pick up all the trash lying around. Once everything’s clean, talk to Scrooge. He will feel bad for being mad at Alice and agrees to say sorry. You then tell him that you are going to talk to Merlin to figure out how to deal with the two Alices situation and ask him to meet you at her house.

When you talk to Merlin, he says bringing Alice some pretty flowers might help. So now, it’s time to collect:

  • 3 x Blue Flowers
  • 4 x Red Flowers
  • 6 x Yellow Flowers.

DDV has lots of flowers in many different colors, so look around and you will find them pretty easily. Once you’ve got all the flowers, head over to Alice’s house. Players will find Olaf, Scrooge, and Mother Gothel there trying to cheer up Sad Alice. Give her the flowers, and watch as she talks to Happy Alice. After the conversation, they merge back into one.
