Scales are Foraging material in Disney Dreamlight Valley and players can use them to create various objects. It’s uncommon to find Scales while exploring the Eternity Isle in the A Rift in Time DLC since the material is located in one specific Biome.

Although some areas are automatically available upon discovering a new part of Eternity Isle in Disney Dreamlight Valley, the required Biome to obtain Scale is locked. Players might suffer a bit from collecting Mist, but it will be worth it in the end as they will be rewarded with multiple Foraging materials, including Scales.

How To Get Scales In Disney Dreamlight Valley

The only way to get Scales in Disney Dreamlight Valley is by fishing at the empty spots in The Oasis Biome within the Glittering Dunes. Obviously, Dreamers need to first unlock the Biome in Disney Dreamlight Valley, which means gathering Mist is a must. Since both The Grasslands and The Plains are automatically unlocked once players complete a few Quests and pay 2,000 Mist to restore the broken bridge, all that’s left is collecting 6,000 Mist to open The Oasis.

Thanks to the Royal Hourglass tool in Disney Dreamlight Valley, collecting Mist is now easier and faster than collecting Dreamlight. While Dreamers can complete Mist Duties to earn some Mist, using the Hourglass tool will also yield hundreds of Mist, especially if you hang out with a friend who has a Timebending role.

Speaking of friends, the amount of Scales fished from The Oasis can also be doubled upon hanging out with a friend who has a fishing role.
