Crafting is a big part of most life sim games, and that’s definitely true in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Whether you are making a storage chest to keep your stuff organized or crafting the Beach Key for the Sandy Competition quest, players will be doing a lot of crafting in their DDV journey.
But what if you spend all that time collecting rare stuff and crafting something only to realize you didn’t really need it? Luckily, Disney Dreamlight Valley has finally added a way to uncraft items. To do this, you’ll need to unlock a special table by completing Cheshire Cat’s quest called Uncrafting Station. Here’s a simple guide to help you finish the quest and get your hands on this new machine.

The Cheshire Cat sends Dreamers on a long scavenger hunt in honor of reaching friendship level 10 with him in DDV.
How to Complete the Uncrafting Station Quest in Dreamlight Valley
The Uncrafting Station is Cheshire Cat’s level 7 friendship quest. Once you reach that level and start the quest, Cheshire Cat will ask you to craft three Wildly Jubilant Topiaries.
Here are the items you need to gather:
- 15 x Clay
- 15 x Soil
- 5 x Pink Houseleek.
You can dig up soil in any biome, and clay can be found in the Sunlit Plateau, Glade of Trust, or Forgotten Lands. As for Pink Houseleek, saviors can find it in the Sunlit Plateau biome. Once you’ve got all the materials, head to a crafting station, make the three topiaries, and give them to Cheshire Cat.
Now, Cheshire Cat will do something totally unexpected. She will ask you to destroy the Wildly Jubilant Topiaries you just made. To do that, open the Furniture Mode, place all three topiaries somewhere in the valley and then use your Pickaxe to break them.
After that, Cheshire Cat will come up with the idea of making the Uncrafting Station. She will send you to her realm to gather some materials. Head over there and look around the forest area to collect 20 Blue Spores scattered on the ground.
With spores in hand, return to Cheshire Cat, who will now enlist the other items you need to make the Uncrafting Station. These include:
- 6 x Purple Bell Flowers
- 4 x Blue Passion Lilies
- 17 x Glass
- 28 x Mushrooms
- 35 x Hardwood
You can find Purple Bell Flowers in the Forest of Valor and Blue Passion Lilies in Frosted Heights. To make Glass, fans will need to use 5 Sand and 1 Coal Ore at a crafting station. Mushrooms grow in the Glade of Trust, and Hardwood can be found in these biomes:
- Forest of Valor
- Glade of Trust
- Frosted Heights
- Sunlit Plateau
After collecting these items, make the Uncrafting Station at the Crafting Table. Then, uncraft any piece of furniture using it and talk to Cheshire Cat to complete the quest.
