The Trick or Treat event is back in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it will last from October 15, to November 1, 2025. Players need to collect candies from the Plaza and use them to complete time-limited duties and earn special rewards. One of the newly added tasks is how to unlock the Haunted Well by solving the Trick or Treat puzzle in DDV.

How To Solve The Trick Or Treat Puzzle In DDV - Disney Dreamlight Valley

To solve the Trick or Treat puzzle in DDV, you need to find the Haunted Well in the Forest of Valor and give it 15 Green Candy, 10 Red Candy, and 5 Purple Candy respectively. Start in the Plaza and search for a red chest to unlock a memory with the Trick or Treat puzzle. There will be a math equation and a small green tree to the left, which is the clue that will lead Dreamers to the Forest of Valor.

Once you are in the forest, search for the Haunted Well and give it the required amount of candy to unlock it as furniture. For players interested in solving the equation, here's the Trick or Treat math puzzle solution in DDV:

After offering the green, red and purple candies, the Haunted Well is automatically obtained in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Additionally, now you can head into Scrooge McDuck's store and buy it from him using Star Coins.

Placing the well anywhere in the valley and interacting with it will spawn a flock of Ravens to fly around it, making it the perfect haunted furniture for the spooky season.

The green, red, and purple candies only appear in The Plaza as buckets of candies. You can find two of each daily from the beginning of the Trick-Or-Treat event until the end. Players who might complete the event late don't need to worry, as by the last day of the event the buckets of candy will spawn every couple of hours instead.
