Disney Dreamlight Valley: Memory Mania Event Guide

To celebrate the new Pixar movie Inside Out 2, Disney Dreamlight Valley has released an all-new event called Memory Mania. It’s a limited-time event available from June 26 to July 17 in the 2022 life sim.

This special Memory Mania Event brings exciting new duties for all Dreamers. During this event, players have to collect different memories scattered across the village to win event-exclusive rewards. Read on for a detailed look at the Memory Mania Event in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

All Memory Mania Memory Locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Memory Mania Event has special tasks for you. There are five collection tasks where you find memories to earn different exciting rewards like Inside Out 2-inspired furniture and animal companions.

Memories can appear as trophies, equipment, and birthday cakes in these areas:

Dream Castle
Scrooge McDuck Store
Goofy’s House
Merlin’s House
Mickey’s House
Moana Realm
Wall-E Realm
Ratatouille Realm.

Memorabilia

For the first memory collection task, you need to gather 200 memory orbs during the event. You can find blue, yellow, and pink memories while completing your other routine tasks.

So while you’re completing friendship quests for your new Disney friends, keep an eye out for these memories. Completing this task will earn you the Lance Slashblade statue.

Feeling Nostalgic

For the second task, you need to find six Hockey Trophies in the Dream Castle or Scrooge McDuck’s Store. These trophies turn into blue memory orbs that show a memory from Inside Out 2. Collecting these will complete a six-piece puzzle. Once done, you’ll get the Envy Rabbit Companion.

You might find all six memories in one area or need to visit both places. Make sure to check daily for new spawns.

Feeling Expansive

For the third task, you need to collect Hockey Equipment from Mickey, Goofy, and Merlin's homes. Each piece of equipment will turn into a yellow memory once you pick it up.

Dreamers will need to collect six or more of these yellow memories to complete a six-piece puzzle. Once done, they will earn the Anxiety Squirrel Companion.

Feeling Joyful

To complete the fourth task, players will need to travel to Moana, WELL-E, and Ratatouille realms through the Dream Castle. Your goal is to find birthday cakes with pink frosting scattered throughout these areas. Each cake you collect will turn into a pink memory orb.

So visit the aforementioned realms and collect enough birthday cakes to complete the six-piece photograph puzzle. Once completed, you’ll be rewarded with a lovely Raven companion.

Feeling Accomplished

Players can complete this duty by completing all the memory duties in the Memory Mania Event. Once done, you will get the Embarrassment Turtle Companion as a reward.
