How To Trigger Out Of The Blue Quest In DDV - Disney Dreamlight Valley

To trigger the Out of the Blue quest, players must complete the Emotional Rescue quest in DDV. After helping Joy fix the console, head to the Long Term Memory section and try to find Sadness. The route is blocked by several routing control puzzles, so you must solve them to eventually reunite with Sadness.

Along the way, dreamers will stumble upon Piano Lesson Musical Memories, which you will need to collect for Sadness upon meeting her. If players wish, they can keep an eye out for musical notes and follow them to find the memory along the way instead of going back and forth.

Piano Lesson Musical Memories Location #1

Upon arriving in Long Term memory, solve the nearby routing control puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley by pressing the red button on the left, then the one on the right, while ignoring the middle.

Go right and solve another puzzle by pressing the left red button, then the middle one. Approach the musical notes and interact with the shelf to get the memory.

Head left of the Long Term Memory entrance to find a Piano Lesson Musical Memory on the shelves nearby a cart of memories.

Proceed forward until the path diverts. Go right first and complete the routing control puzzle by pressing the middle red button, then the left one. Take the energy and go the other way.

Finally, players will stumble upon one more routing control puzzle, and they can solve it by pressing the right button then the left one. The final memory is right behind Sadness.

Now that you have collected everything, speak with the emotion who leads you to the recall tube where the Piano Lesson Musical Memories are placed to be sent to HQ. This completes the Out of the Blue quest and triggers the Dream On quest, which is required to unlock Joy in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
