Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Get Dry Wood

Disney Dreamlight Valley has an assortment of different types of wood types throughout its eight biomes. Among these types, Dry Wood is rarer than others. This wood is used for a long list of recipes, but luckily not any quests, so players can keep their Dry Wood specifically for crafting.

Dry Wood is harder to come by because it is only available in three biomes, which players have to unlock later in the game. Biomes cost Dreamlight, and the locations where Dry Wood spawns are a bit more expensive to get into than others. It is very rare that a player will be able to purchase Dry Wood, so they'll likely have to unlock the biomes to find it for themselves. This guide will go over where to find Dry Wood in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Where To Find Dry Wood

Getting Dry Wood isn't as easy as softwood or even hardwood, but if players look in the right places, they will find it in no time. This wood type is available in three biomes: Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and the Forgotten Lands. Players also have the chance of finding Dry Wood at Kristoff's Stall, but it won't be available as often as other materials.

To unlock other biomes, such as the ones where players can find Dry Wood, they will need Dreamlight, which they can collect for completing quests. Dream Shards can also be dug up around the valley that can then be created into Dreamlight. Once players have enough Dreamlight, they can head over to the biome and use their magic to unlock it. The costs for the biomes where Dry Wood can be found are:

Sunlit Plateau: 7,000
Frosted Heights: 10,000
Forgotten Lands: 15,000

When searching for Dry Wood, be sure to bring along a villager that has been leveled up for forging. This will give a better chance to collect up more Dry Wood. Asking the villager to hang out and proceeding to pick up wood will help them level up their friendship a lot faster as well, as give players bonuses along the way.

The material can be sold at one of Goofy's Stalls for 25 Star Coins. However, it isn't recommended to sell Dry Wood as it is needed for so many recipes.
