With “The Remembering Update,” players now have the option to place multiple players' houses throughout the valley. This allows players to greatly expand their creative possibilities, as each house can be separately customized. However, in order to place multiple houses at this time, the player must purchase additional Dream Styles from the Premium Item Shop with Moonstones, the currency obtained via spending real money.

In this guide, players will learn how to place multiple player houses and can browse a comprehensive list of all the available house Dream Styles in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How To Place Multiple Player Houses

Customizing the player's house in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

To place a new player house, the player must own at least one additional Dream Style beyond the default Gablefront House. Additionally, the first house must be fully upgraded, which means purchasing all three upgrades available at the sign near its front door.

It is not necessary to purchase additional rooms or floors in the first house, beyond those provided by the upgrades, before placing an additional player house.

While the Gablefront House can be customized from six different color options, these do not count as individual Dream Styles for the purpose of placing additional homes.

Players cannot apply the same Dream Style to multiple houses simultaneously. Each Dream Style can be used for one house only, so the number of additional houses a player can place is limited by the number of unique Dream Styles they own.

This means that players can currently place a maximum of 6 player houses until more skins are added. It is likely that many more house Dream Styles will be added in future updates, expanding the options for players and allowing them to place even more homes.

To place a new player house in Disney Dreamlight Valley, follow these simple steps:

  1. While outside, open the Furniture menu.
  2. Click on the “House” category and select one of the available Dream Styles.
  3. Place the new house in any open area within the valley that can accommodate its dimensions.

It’s important to note that Dream Styles, which completely overhauls a house’s exterior appearance, may also change the size of the building, resulting in the need for a larger space for placement. Therefore, the player may need to relocate nearby exterior objects to accommodate a newly styled house.

To begin customization of the newly placed house, the player needs just to enter that house, and they can place furniture and purchase upgrades, including additional floors and rooms.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
