Unlike in Disney Dreamlight Valley, the biomes in the expansions are broken up into smaller biomes that you have to gradually unlock. Both Mythopia and Everafter, the larger regions of Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale, are comprised of four smaller biomes that each have their own series of story quests that you will need to complete. Taking Mythopia for example, you need to complete each trial to open the path that will lead Hades back to Mount Olympus. Of course, there is often some kind of obstacle that stands between you and the next trial, and in the case of The Marble Colossus, it happens to be a bridge in need of repairs.

On its release day, Disney Dreamlight Valley's first chapter of its Storybook Vale DLC, Welcome to the Vale, is already off to a bumpy start.
Explore the Statue's Shadow
After you've used 5,000 Storybook Magic, you will have full access to this particular area of Mythopia. Since you have to explore the biome anyway, head to the Wishing Well and repair it. To progress this quest, head down the stairs toward the large statue of Hades. Interact with the mechanism to discover that it is broken and cannot be used to extend the bridge. With this complication in the way, find Hades and let him know.
How to Fix the Bridge
In order to restore the controls for the bridge, you will have to build the Pain & Panic Vase. To do this, gather the following materials.
- 10 Marble
- Four Gold Ingots
- Four Squid
Marble can be mined from rocks in the Elysian Fields, the Fiery Plains, the Statue's Shadow, and Mount Olympus. If you've completed Mythic Restoration, you will also be able to destroy the chunks of marble with your Royal Pickaxe as well. Gold Ingots are crafted with Gold Nuggets, which can be mined from rocks in the Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, the Forgotten Lands, the Elysian Fields, the Fiery Plains, the Statue's Shadow, and Mount Olympus. Squids can be fished from the Glade of Trust, the Forgotten Lands, and every biome in Mythopia.
If you happen to have all of these materials already, you can skip to the next step, which is crafting the two vases. Go back to the bridge and place the two vases onto the pillars to the left and right of the controls. Once they are placed, interact with the controls and the bridge will extend, allowing you to cross. Use your Royal Net to open the portal that leads to the third trial in Mythopia. At this point, the Marble Colossus quest concludes and the next one, Losing your Marbles, begins.
