Once here, players choose the blank item intended for customization, which launches the Touch of Magic tool. Items that have been generated with this tool are categorized as Touch of Magic items. Players should think of this as a tag applied to the customized item, similar to the regular in-game traits or styles such as "Cute" or "Delicate."
Touch of Magic Items and DreamSnaps
One of Disney Dreamlight Valley's newest feature additions, DreamSnaps, has caused players to express confusion and concern about this feature's photo submission constraints. DreamSnaps is a weekly photography competition where in-game photos fulfilling particular criteria and themes are submitted by players, with other players voting for their favorite shots.
Players must equip items from certain categories and traits to have their photos accepted into the competition. However, any item featured in the photograph cannot be modified using Touch of Magic. Therefore, customized furniture or clothing is not permissible when staging the ideal snapshot for the weekly competition.
