Gameloft has announced that Disney Dreamlight Valley's annual Trick or Treat event will begin on October 15 and run through October 31, giving players about two weeks to participate in the limited-time event and collect some spooky rewards. Disney Dreamlight Valley was originally released in early access on September 6, 2022, and is currently available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
While the upcoming Trick or Treat event is sure to delight many fans, a lot of players are eagerly awaiting new information about the upcoming Wishblossom Ranch DLC for Disney Dreamlight Valley. From what has been shared, gamers will soon be able to fight off The Decay in order to restore the ranch to working order. Fans will also be able to interact with free-roaming horses, a new mechanic that is sure to add even more life to the bustling setting. Players will be able to learn even more about the upcoming paid DLC during a special presentation scheduled to take place on October 15.
Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Trick or Treat Event Offers Free Rewards
Gameloft has also announced that it will be kicking off its annual Halloween celebration in Disney Dreamlight Valley on October 15. The event will run through the rest of October, giving players plenty of time to collect candy and claim rewards. While longtime players may recognize some returning elements from Disney Dreamlight Valley's previous Trick or Treat events, they can expect to see some fresh content as well.
Trick or Treat 2025 Rewards
- NEW: Haunted Well – complete the Haunted Well puzzle.
- Happy Jack-O'-Lantern – complete the Sugar Rush achievement.
- Mischievous Jack-O'-Lantern – complete the Sugar Rush achievement.
- Friendly Jack-O'-Lantern – complete the Sugar Rush achievement.
- Mickey Mouse Pumpkin – complete the Trick or Treat achievement.
- Pumpkin Stack – complete the Stockpiling Pumpkins achievement.
- Green Trick-or-Treater's Bounty – complete the A 3-Course Halloween Meal achievement.
- Purple Trick-or-Treater's Bounty – complete the Villainy Wears Many Masks achievement.
In order to participate, players will want to start collecting candy from Candy Bowls in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Candy Bowls can be red, purple, or green, with each one rewarding players with two pieces of candy. From October 15 through October 30, two Candy Bowls of each color will appear every 24 hours. However, on October 31, these Candy Bowls will appear every hour. Once collected, the candy can be used to complete Event Duties. A new Haunted Well will also be featured within the world, though players will need to make sure that they have unlocked the Forest of Valor to take advantage of this new content.
Xbox Game Pass Core recently added Disney Dreamlight Valley to its catalog of available titles on October 1, which means players with a subscription can jump into the game and try out the Trick or Treat event at no additional cost. With so much content to enjoy and even more on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Disney Dreamlight Valley.
