Should You Give Damien Ice Cream Or Flowers In Epic Mickey: Rebrushed?
Mickey will encounter a shy pirate by the name of Damien shortly after unlocking and entering Ventureland, with the character being one of the three pirates Mickey will need to help in order to progress further in the story. Damien is smitten with Henrietta, but doesn't know whether he should try to woo her with ice cream or a bunch of flowers. Players wanting to know Henrietta's preference need only approach the character, who is standing mere meters from Damien, and talk to her. Players will quickly discover that she likes flowers and does not like ice cream, as too many men have tried to win her over with the frozen treat.
The choice on whether you give Damien ice cream or flowers as a gift for Henrietta depends on the type of playthrough you're on. If you're looking to restore peace and order to the Wastelands and fix everything, then the correct option of flowers is the way to go. If you are, however, leaning on Thinner as your primary weapon instead of Paint, then the chaotic choice of ice cream will complete the mission - but it won't be for the better of the couple. There's no incorrect answer, per se, but there will likely be one better suited to your playthrough.
How To Get Ice Cream in Epic Mickey: Rebrushed
If playing matchmaker is not on the cards for Mickey in this run of Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, then players should acquire an ice cream for Damien to give Henrietta. This is the easiest of the two options to acquire, and will require Mickey to venture back through the projector to Mean Street.
Ice cream can be purchased from the ice cream parlor on Mean Street for 50 E-Tickets. This is the building closest to the mechanism Gus uses to restore the projectors, and will stand out with its ice-cream-shaped pillars out the front. Simply go up to the vendor and select the ice cream option. For collectors, you'll also find additional content and concept art for sale at the shop periodically.
How To Get Flowers in Epic Mickey: Rebrushed
Alternatively, if you want to bring the pirate and his love together, then Mickey will need to gather a bunch of flowers. This isn't as readily available as ice cream, but can be easily collected by taking the projectors all the way back to Ostown. You will need to complete a small quest with the objective of collecting flowers, which you can trigger by speaking to Clarabelle at her house.
The quest requires players to collect three different flowers and bring them back to Clarabelle so she can craft a bouquet. The locations are as follows:
- One flower can be found under Clarabelle's garden. If you've completed the Ostown Phone Network quest, then it's in the same spot as one of the power boxes. Use thinner on the largest part of the garden, go down the spiraling ramp, and collect the first flower.
- Another flower can be found directly behind Clarabelle's house, but it is hidden behind a wall. Use Mickey's Thinner to reveal the hidden alcove and collect the second flower.
- A third flower can be found where another power box is. Venture to the opposite side of town where the bridge is, go past Donald's sunken ship, and use Thinner on the wall to reveal another hidden alcove.
With the three flowers in hand, Mickey can complete the quest, which rewards players with the bunch of flowers and three different themed pins - one for each of the flowers collected. From there, take the flowers back to Damien and he will present them to Henrietta.
Both outcomes will result in Mickey receiving the figurehead he needs to progress to Tortooga, but the ending will be vastly different for the couple. Flowers will be met favorably by Henrietta, and she will kiss the pirate, whereas ice cream will be scoffed at, and Damien will say good riddance to both Mickey and Henrietta as she rejects his advances.
