Fortunately, Disney Pixel RPG provides a practical solution early on. By completing a few beginner stages, you can use your excess Stamina Points to collect as many upgrade potions as you need on a specific stage.

Upgrade Pixels Explained

In Disney Pixel RPG, Upgrade Pixels are level-up potions that boost your characters' HP, ATK, and DEF stats. These items are crucial for building stronger units and defeating tougher enemies. Typically, you earn Upgrade Pixels by completing stages or unlocking reward chests. However, there's also a method for farming them efficiently.
As a Gacha game, Disney Pixel RPG also features two specialized stat-enhancement resources: ATK and DEF Boost Cubes. These items exclusively upgrade ATK and DEF stats and are typically earned by completing Hard stages.
How to Farm Upgrade Pixels
- Progress the main story until you unlock the Bonus 1-1 stage.
- Beat this stage repeatedly to earn extra Upgrade Pixels.
- Use the Auto-Clear Settings to automate farming Upgrade Pixels.
After completing Stage 1-8 of the Prince Saga: Aurora, you can farm Upgrade Pixels in Bonus Stage 1-1. You have the option to complete this stage manually or use the Auto-Clear feature, which allows you to repeat the stage as many times as you want, as long as you have enough Stamina.
The Auto-Clear Settings are located in the bottom-left corner of the screen after you tap the stage's icon, right next to the "Start" button. This feature allows you to customize your farming strategy, including how many times your characters should farm, which moves they should use, and when they should stop.
If your Stamina is full (with at least 50 Stamina Points), you can farm Upgrade Pixels up to five times, yielding as many as 300 potions. On average, you’ll earn around 55 bottles of upgrade potions from this Bonus Stage.
You can access all Bonus Stages from the Magic Gate menu. Simply tap the "Bonus Stage" tab next to "Story" to view the other materials available for farming.
Getting Upgrade Pixels with Expeditions
After defeating Mimic Maleficent and progressing to the second world, you can send your characters on Expeditions. These AFK missions take up to ten minutes and reward you with valuable items like Upgrade Pixels. While not as fast as Bonus Stage farming, Expeditions provide extra resources without limiting your team. The best part is that you can send any characters on Expeditions while still using them in Story combats, making it a win-win with no drawbacks.
Tips for Farming Upgrade Pixels
- Start farming before the Mimic Maleficent boss fight. You’ll need high-level units to defeat the game’s first boss, Mimic Maleficent. It’s a good idea to farm Upgrade Pixels beforehand so you can face her with a stronger team.
- Farm Upgrade Pixels with low-level units. As you repeatedly complete the Bonus Stage, you’ll also earn Explorer Level points. This is a great chance to level up your weaker units while farming Upgrade Pixels.
- Spend Upgrade Pixels on your primary ATK units. Focus on boosting your team’s damage output by investing your level-up potions in three-star characters with higher ATK potential.
- Turn on Power Saving Mode when farming. This feature speeds up the farming process by skipping most animations during Auto-Clear, which also helps conserve battery life.
- Collect the login reward. As of Disney Pixel RPG's release, there is a rookie login reward event that grants players 1,000 bottles of Upgrade Pixels on the second day of their login. Don't forget to claim this reward
