Division 2 Best DPS & Armor Heartbreaker PvP Build

The main star of this PvP build is the "Heartbreaker" brand set. This set works like a "Striker" brand set, but also grants you bonus armor. First and foremost, Heartbreaker provides players with the ability to pulse enemies on a headshot for 5 seconds. With this, hitting pulse enemies will grant players a stack of +1% weapon damage and +1% bonus armor for every hit on pulsed enemies (up to 50 stacks).

Stacking up armor increases your odds of survival in PvP, and having a ton of armor with bonus armor stacked on top of it will ensure your victory. However, landing those headshots is tricky for other players, and many will need some practice. So, here's the build breakdown showcasing all the gear you need to craft this build.

Division 2 Best AR DPS & Armor PvP Build Explanation

This is a PvP build that relies on you landing headshots on enemy players. Landing the headshots will pulse them, activating the "Heartbreaker" brand set talent.

With every shot hit on the enemy, you'll stack weapon damage and armor on your character. With a ton of base armor, you'll be stacking a lot of bonus armor to survive intense PvP encounters. The longer you stay in a fight and land successful shots at enemy players, the greater your chances of winning the fight.

  • For DPS: Once enemies are pulsing, you'll be stacking up weapon damage plus the Perfect Flatline talent on the "Kingbreaker" will grant an additional 20% amplified damage. Despite its low fire rate, you'll be dishing out a ton of damage.
  • For Survivability: With the base armor reaching 1.7 million, it will scale the bonus armor received, significantly improving survivability. Even if your armor goes down, the Unbreakable talent on the chest piece will activate, giving you 50% armor (in PvP) back.

As a bonus tip, make sure to equip the Firewall Specialization to use its exclusive medkit, which heals your armor for 200% over time. Additionally, use the "Striker Shield." Finally, have the pulse skill on your character to activate the brand set bonus at the start of the fight.

If you're new to the PvP content in Division 2, rocking this build may not click at the first few encounters with other players. However, you'll gradually learn how to approach a fight and the right moment to attack, which will improve your gameplay a lot.
