The Division 2 is a game of resources. Whether it be food, water, or components to help maintain control points, target intel to purchase bounties, or a range of crafting materials with different rarities, The Division 2 players will constantly be hunting for resources. One resource, in particular, seems to be in high demand come The Division 2's endgame, required both for item crafting and upgrading the very important crafting table in the White House: Titanium. And while there's no one method of earning Titanium quick, there are several methods that can help make Titanium farming more efficient.
As mentioned, there's no guaranteed method to Titanium farming in The Division 2 since all sources of Titanium rely on RNG to get it to drop. That said, there are three sources of loot that are more efficient for Titanium farming. Players can either focus in on these sources or just be more mindful of them in standard gameplay.
For PvP-friendly players, Titanium shouldn't be hard to find. Titanium can drop from any enemies in Dark Zone landmarks. Any of the three Dark Zones work as well as another, though every player will likely have their own preference. There's clearly a risk in any Dark Zone of being caught up in PvP, but for the most part farming landmarks solo or with a group will result in a relatively quick supply of Titanium. The western Dark Zone is known for being a better Titanium farm than the other two, but keep in mind that it can also turn into the Occupied Dark Zone where stat normalization is disabled.
For PvE-focused players, the Outcast faction appear to drop Titanium much more than others. Outcasts are found in the West End, Foggy Bottom, and Constitution Hall regions in large quantity. Doing activities in these regions should result in a decently efficient Titanium Farm.
Finally, and perhaps most effective for a pure and focused farm, Titanium drops from loot objects scattered through the environments. Donating food, water, and components to a friendly Control Point will boost the range that these objects will stand out, making them easily farmable. In specific, a location in the East Mall region between the Sinkhole, Solar Farm, and Crash Site Control Points is a very good Titanium farm.
Using these methods of Titanium farming, The Division 2 players should be able to earn over 100 Titanium in a relatively short amount of time. But the true benefit of knowing the sources of Titanium is being able to casually farm it while playing regularly so that there's no need to spend a lot of time farming. After all, it's all in pursuit of better gear and overcoming greater challenges.
The Division 2 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
