The original Titan Quest was released almost twenty years ago, and its sequel promises a lot of improvements and new content for returning fans. Early on, players will see the new Masteries, which offer a range of new potential classes and builds to try out, but there are also a lot of gameplay changes that may not be noticed right away.
One of the bigger marketing pushes for Titan Quest 2 was the addition of multiplayer, letting you fight against all sorts of Greek mythological beasts with your friends. Here's if Titan Quest 2 has multiplayer, and what exactly Solo Self-Found (SSF) means.

Does Titan Quest 2 Have Multiplayer?
At the time of writing this article, Titan Quest 2 has only been released in early access, and it doesn't have multiplayer for the general public yet. A lot of the content in the final version of the game is not available, as players only have a few hours of story content to engage in at the moment. On the home screen, the multiplayer option is present, though you're unable to click it, and can only play alone.
While multiplayer isn't available to the public, some players are being added to the multiplayer preview server, though it's unclear how you can be chosen for this. No set timeline is given for when multiplayer will open up, with only the vague timeline of the coming weeks or months to go off of.

What is Solo Self-Found in Titan Quest 2
At the moment, Solo Self-Found has no function as it is a part of the multiplayer system. If you enable Solo Self-Found, that character will be unable to engage in any of the multiplayer features being added to the game later on. If you want to have the potential of playing multiplayer later on, simply leave the box unchecked when you create your character; just know it won't have any noticeable effects at this time.
Solo Self-Found is determined individual for each character, so you can have some with it enabled and some with it not.
As of now, there is no way to switch Solo Self-Found on or off after it is selected. If you have no desire to play multiplayer, simply turn on Solo Self-Found and you won't need to worry about it again. While the details of exactly what multiplayer will look like are still unclear, leave the box unmarked if you have any desire to one day play multiplayer.
