There are several challenge rooms in Donkey Kong Bananza that players can encounter throughout all 17 layers of the game. The Feast layer (SL1400) is home to the Trap-Filled Towers Challenge Course, which requires players to traverse a tricky set of towers with enemies that blend into the terrain.

Like many challenge courses in DK Bananza, Trap-Filled Towers features two Banandium Gems along the main path, and one hidden in an out-of-the-way area. Follow this guide to learn where to find the Trap-Filled Towers in DK Bananza and how to get the secret banana in the Trap-Filled Towers challenge course.
How To Get To The Trap-Filled Towers In DK Bananza
From the starting point in the Feast layer, Donkey Kong Bananza players should travel to the right side of the gigantic lion in the middle of the level. On the layer map, look on the right side of the lion for a large green gate and a mine cart station.
Unlock the Kingly Swings checkpoint, turn to face the lion, then turn completely around to find the sealed Trap-Filled Towers entrance. Use Pauline's singing powers to break open the seal, then head inside to take on this DK Bananza challenge course.
How To Get Every Banandium Gem In The Trap-Filled Towers
All Trap-Filled Towers Banana Locations In DK Bananza
There are three bananas in the Trap-Filled Towers Feast layer Challenge Course. This challenge course features numerous false walls that turn into enemies, which will fall down and attack DK if he lingers on their surfaces for too long.
You can destroy these enemies, but at certain points in the level, this can accidentally remove your only way to climb upward. Swap to your Snake Bananza form to jump up to ledges that you can't normally reach if you accidentally remove too much climbing surface by defeating these trap enemies.
Donkey Kong Bananza: Fragmentone Fragment Locations (Forest)
In the Forest Layer, DK Bananza players can find a Fragmentone who will reward 2x Banandium Gems if you find the three missing fragments nearby.
The first and third Banandium Gems players can find are located along the main path and can be picked up easily. The second Banandium Gem, however, is hidden in a location that can be hard to get to – unless you use the Ostrich Bananza transformation.
Banandium Gem #1: Through The Mauling Walls
The first banana Donkey Kong Bananza players can find in the Trap-Filled Towers level is relatively easy to get to. Walk forward, quickly climb the wall to avoid being hit by the trap enemies, then circle to the left above the electrified surfaces at the top of this tower.
Turn around and walk across the sludgey walkway as fast as you can to avoid being smashed by the falling wall trap enemies. You will get this first banana at the end of this segment.
Banandium Gem #2: A Wall All Alone
To get the second Banandium Gem in the Trap-Filled Towers challenge course, continue forward from the first banana and climb the wall, taking care to avoid contact with the electrified surfaces. Do not destroy the walls here – the second banana is located behind this tower, not through it.
How To Play DK Artist in Donkey Kong Bananza
The secret DK Artist game mode in Donkey Kong Bananza harkens back to the era of Mario Paint and Mario 64's title screen minigame.
Climb to the ledge and jump off, then either drop down to a ledge below or use the Ostrich Bananza transformation to leap off the ledge, then fly back to grab onto the wall. Either way, you will reach a dirt patch on the rear of this final tower below the ledge – smash through it to get the secret banana in Trap-Filled Towers.
Banandium Gem #3: Falling Mauling Walls
Immediately after you pick up the second banana, go back out and enter the barrel. This will launch you into an other barrel, which launches you to the final ascent. This portion of the challenge course features a number of wall enemies as you climb up an incredibly high vertical surface.
To make it all the way to the top, you will have to either carefully zig-zag your way up to avoid being hit by the traps that trigger upon touch, or climb behind this wall of enemies, then bash your way back in near the top ledge. Unless you have great timing, it is likely that you will fall off during this last portion. Use the Snake transformation to gain some height if you fall too far.
At the top of the tower you will get the last banana and complete this challenge course!
