Throughout several layers of Donkey Kong Bananza, players may find a puzzle piece-like Fractone with missing chunks on its sides. Talk to this Fractone, and you will be asked to find the missing fragments nearby. In the Forest Layer, via the right path of The Divide, Fragmentone tasks DK to find and return the three missing fragments to make Fragmentone whole again.
The three fragment locations in the Forest layer Fragmentone quest are on the islands nearby, and you'll need to use the new Seed mechanic in this layer to reach them. Follow this guide to learn where to find every Fragmentone fragment location and how to return them to the main Fragmentone safely.

How To Start The Forest Layer Fragment Quest
The Fragmentone objective in the Forest Layer of DK Bananza can be found on an island floating on top of poison on Layer 601, near the drop to the next layer. Open up your map once you reach L601 and look for a mass of twisting red bramble vines near a set of sea green cubes/geometric steps.
Start the Fragmentone quest in the Forest layer by speaking to the puzzle piece Fragmentone on the center of an island just behind these red vines.

Where To Find All Three Fragmentone Pieces In The Forest Layer
There are two Banandium Gems on offer in this Fragmentone mission: find one of the missing Fragmentone pieces, and you'll get one Banandium Gem. Find all three, and you'll get a second Banandium Gem. To start the quest, talk to the puzzle piece-shaped Fragmentone, then look on the two islands nearby.
Donkey Kong Bananza: Best Skills For The Endgame
DK has a lot of skills at his disposal in Donkey Kong Bananza, but once you reach the endgame, these are the ones you should focus on unlocking.
If you face away from the Fragmentone that you just spoke with, you should see one Fragmentone on the land ahead (near the Seed), and two on the island to the right.
To get both of these Fragmentones, you must throw a Seed to grow a branch that you can walk on, then carefully navigate back to the main Fragmentone to re-attach the missing pieces. The Fragmentone pieces will follow you once touched, but will stop following if you get too far away or if they are hurt.
-
Jump across the poison to get back to the Seed, then pick it up and throw it at the wooden enemy on the left-side island (where the two Fragmentone pieces are waiting to be picked up).
- The wooden enemy will freeze in place as the branch roots it to the ground and connects to DK's position.
- Walk on this branch, then pick up both Fragmentones and bring them back to the Seed spawn point.
- Look on the grass around the Seed to find the third Fragmentone and complete your collection.
- Pick up the Seed once more, which will break your existing branch, then create a new path across the gap to get back to the main Fragmentone.
Walk up to the Fragmentone and all three pieces will automatically re-attach themselves and re-form the missing Fragmentone holes. When complete, you will unlock 2x Banandium Gems for helping find all three Fragmentone pieces in the Forest Layer!
