Skill Trees are an interesting mechanic in Don’t Starve Together. It allows players to main certain characters since playing them is more rewarding. Of course, each character’s Skill Tree is related to their gimmick. For example, Wigfrid’s Skills enhance her ability to fight with Spears and wear Helms. Skill Trees also introduces more depth to each character by improving their fighting and survival abilities.
For new players, the Skill Tree mechanic is an excellent addition to Don't Starve Together. It encourages them to survive and experiment more with each character. That can be extremely fun, especially since Don't Starve Together has a wide variety of characters that can do a lot of different things in the Constant.
Don't Starve Together: Every Character Ranked By Difficulty
Don't Starve Together features many playable characters to choose from. Here's every character ranked from the hardest to play to the easiest.
How To Get Insight In Don't Starve Together
To get Insight in Don't Starve Together, you have to survive for several days. The more days your character survives, the more Insights they will get. Even if the character eventually fails, the Insight build-up continues in the next playthrough, and, eventually, you’ll manage to collect all the Insight points a character can have.
Staying in Ghost form and letting the days pass won’t build the Insight meter.
It’s important to know that each character gains up to 15 Insight points, which isn’t enough to maximize their Skill Tree. For players that accidentally upgraded a skill or didn’t like what they bought with Insight, you can reset the Skill Tree by heading to the character’s Skillset and pressing the Reset Insight button. It will give all the Insights back, and you can place them back again in any order. Changing Skills won’t affect ongoing playthroughs, however, and only works on new gameplays.
The first Insight is gained after five days of surviving, then it takes eight days to get the second. After that, the more Insights you acquire, the longer days it takes to get another. It ends up requiring players to survive 15 days to get one Insight, which sums up a total of a whopping 160 days to collect all 15 Insights in one go.
