Doom: The Dark Ages fans will have to head to their nearest Prince St. Pizza shop if they want to pick up an exclusive skin for the mighty Doom Slayer. Developer id Software is taking the Slayer back in time before the events of the 2016 Doom reboot to seemingly explore the character's mysterious origins. With slower-paced but more powerful combat, Doom: The Dark Ages players can expect to feel more like a one-man tank as they're given tools like a mace, a Captain America-like shield saw, and the ability to parry enemy attacks and projectiles.

As with most AAA game releases, Doom: The Dark Ages already has some cosmetic items available as part of the game's different preorder editions on offer. Anybody who preorders any edition of the game will receive the Void Slayer skin, which gives Doomguy's medieval armor a silver shine with a stunning red visor. As for Doom: The Dark Ages' Premium and Collector's editions, both will come with the Divinity skin pack, which gives matching skins to the Slayer, his giant Atlan mech, and his trusty rideable dragon.

Gamers can head to their nearest Prince St. Pizza and order a "Hellfire Pepperoni" pie to receive the exclusive Ranger skin for the Doom Slayer, along with one free month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. The pizza itself comes in a neat Prince St. Pizza box adorned with The Dark Ages' beautiful secondary cover art. Thankfully, fans won't have to rush, as the offer will last a whole month after Doom: The Dark Ages' release, ending on June 15.

As for the Ranger skin itself, it gives the Doom Slayer's armor a darker green hue, making the silver parts of his medieval garb pop a bit more. Interestingly, Prince St. Pizza's promotional graphic for this particular skin mentions that it's a "timed exclusive," meaning there's a chance the skin might become widely available as cosmetic DLC after the offer ends on June 15. There could even be a few more DLC Slayer skins to come post-launch, though seeing that Doom: The Dark Ages is a single-player game and not a live service, fans shouldn't expect too many. However, it's worth noting that, so far, all of these alternate Doom Slayer cosmetics are re-skins of his original design, so it'll be interesting to see whether id Software changes the armor design for a future Dark Ages look.

Doom: The Dark Ages will come to Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC in just a few days on May 15. It'll also be available day one on Microsoft's popular Xbox Game Pass subscription service, making Prince St. Pizza's Hellfire Pepperoni all the more worthwhile to pick up for non-Game Pass users, as it comes with a free month of Ultimate. With the offer ending in over a month, interested gamers have some time to plan a trip to their nearest Prince St. Pizza to secure the exclusive skin.
