A brand-new Dr. Stone: Science Future trailer was revealed on Wednesday, detailing the staff, cast and opening and ending theme songs of the upcoming second cours of the series. The second part of Dr. Stone: Science Future is set to premiere on July 10, with the new trailer previewing the new opening theme song "SUPERNOVA," performed by KANA-BOON, and the new ending theme song, "no man's world," performed by -otoha-.

Science Future is the fourth season of the Dr. Stone anime, and follows the events of Dr. Stone: New World. It is the final season of the Dr. Stone anime series.

Dr. Stone Season 4 Cour 2 Release Window Confirmed

Dr. Stone will return one last time in July 2025.

The Thrilling Conclusion to Senku's Scientific Inquiry

The upcoming second cours of Dr. Stone: Science Future comes six months after the first cours aired during the Winter 2025 anime season, running for 12 episodes. New cast members of the upcoming season were announced prior to the release of the latest trailer, and they include:

Chiharu Sawashiro (Sebas, To Your Eternity) as Carlos
Hiroki Yasumoto (Yasutora "Chad" Sado, BLEACH) as Brody
Kenji Nojima (Tuxedo Mask, Sailor Moon: Crystal) as Dr. Xeno
Kōji Yusa (Ayumu Tōjō, Gintama) as Stanley Snyder
Mariko Higashiuchi (Black Canary, Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes and Huntsmen Part Two) as Maya
Taishi Murata (Eiichiro Maruo, Baby Steps) as Max

The anime's staff includes Shūhei Matsushita (animation supervisor, Flowers of Evil) as director; series composition by Kurasumi Sunayama (script, Yowamushi Pedal); character designs by Yuko Iwasa (character design, Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas); art direction by Shunichirō Yoshihara; art setting and colour design by Tomoyuki Aoki and Fusako Nakao respectively, and Jin Aketagawa as sound director.

The series' soundtrack will feature the talents of JUJUTSU KAISEN and Tokyo Revengers composer Hiroaki Tsutsumi, together with Tatsuya Katō (Food Wars!) and Yuki Kanesaka (insert song arrangement, Blood Blockade Battlefront). The first season of Dr. Stone aired in July 2019, with the sequel, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars following in January 2021. The third season, New World, premiered in April 2023, while Science Future Part 1 came out in January this year. The anime is the adaptation of the manga formed from the collaboration of Eyeshield 21 author Riichirō Inagaki (on which he collaborated with One Punch Man artist Yusuke Murata) and Korean mangaka Boichi, who recently began a new serialization titled The Marshal King.
