There are various puzzles players might stumble upon while exploring the regions in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Some puzzles are complicated, like the Warden Vault one, while others are extremely easy and unlock a small room full of loot.
Upon reaching a certain clearing in the Arlathan Forest, Rook will notice a big chest on a small patch of land in the middle of the lake. There is no way to reach it, but a couple of beam generators are lying around that you can use to solve the puzzle.

How To Solve Forest Mire Beam Generator Puzzle In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
To reach the location, fast travel to the Beacon northeast of the Veil Jumpers camp, spawning Rook in the Ancient Aqueduct. Head east and climb the ladder, then proceed east inside the destroyed building to reach Forest Mire, the puzzle location. The island in the middle is surrounded by water.
To solve the Forest Mire and Waterfront Glades Beam Generator puzzle, players must locate three beam generators and aim them at faraway Energy Nodes to create a pathway to the unreachable land.
Beam Generator Location #1
From the Forest Mire’s entrance, head east across the fallen tree log and use Harding to move a rock and climb a higher hill. Summon Lace’s powers and push two stones out to cross the river safely. A beam generator can be seen, but it’s deactivated.
Jump to the lower ground behind it to the north to find a working generator. Aim at the Energy Node beneath the higher generator to activate it, then aim it at the faraway Energy Node on the island.
Beam Generator Location #2
Jump down again from the previous location, and go northwest to stumble upon a turned-off beam generator behind some bushes. Go to the nearby statue to find a Power Crystal around the crates. Grab it to activate the beam generator and aim it at the island's Energy Node.
Beam Generator Location #3
Turn around, climb the stairs, then run left towards the fallen tree log. Approach the short gate, and open it to see a blue barrier across. Take the Power Crystal to remove the barrier and place it on the Energy Node next to the beam generator. Finally, aim it at a faraway Node.
A bridge will magically appear, leading to the patch of land in the middle of the lake. However, be careful as a level 26 Guardian of Secrets boss is guarding the chest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Once you defeat it, open the chest to get a Unique Light Helm, the Iron Veil.
