How To Respec Your Character In Dragon Age: The Veilguard
You’ll be glad to know that it’s possible to respec Rook (your character) in Dragon Age: The Veilguard with next to no restrictions. To reclaim all skill points spent on Rook, start by opening the Skills menu. Then, press the designated “Refund Points” button (F by default on Keyboard and Mouse). A confirmation message will appear; press F again to confirm, and you’ll regain all previously spent Skill Points.
You can also refund individual skill points. To do this, click on the specific skill you want to refund, then press the designated refund button, which is Left Click by default on Keyboard and Mouse. This action won’t prompt a confirmation screen.
Keep in mind, though, that individual skills can only be refunded if they don’t have any linked abilities. If linked abilities are present, you’ll need to refund those as well.

Respecing companions in Dragon Age: The Veilguard is entirely possible, and the process is nearly identical to respecing Rook. The only difference is in the initial steps.
First, open the Companion Tab. If it hasn’t been unlocked yet, continue progressing through the story to access it. Next, select the companion you want to respec (the image above has chosen Bellara). Press F to access their Skills menu.
From here, the steps are the same as with Rook: press F again to refund all spent skill points (bottom left corner), or refund individual skills by selecting them and pressing Left Click.
