Dragon Age: The Veilguard - How to Solve Wharf Crossing South Gate Puzzle
Upon reaching the Wharf Crossing South gate puzzle, players should approach the explosives jars to the right of the gate and press the input (such as Tab or R1) that appears on top of them. Dragon Age: The Veilguard players should then use the ability at the top of the menu that appears to destroy those jars and create a hole in the wall.
Once that hole is made, players should approach the lever to the left of the gate and activate it. Action RPG fans should then quickly move onto the wooden platform to their left and look into the room that is beyond the gates. From this position, players will see a gold circle, and they should open the ability wheel (with Tab or R1) and use the top ability to freeze that object. This action will prevent the gate that was raised with the lever from falling.
Players should now make their way to the lever to the right of the gate and activate it. Fans should then move in front of the hole that they created in the wall and open the ability wheel (with Tab or R1). Players should see that the Freeze ability has once again appeared at the top of that wheel, and they can use it on a gold circle that is beyond the hole.
While an input is typically displayed on top of objects that can be targeted with abilities, that does not seem to be the case with the second gold circle. That said, it is still possible to target that object by opening the ability wheel when standing in front of the hole.
After freezing the second gold circle, and preventing the right lever from deactivating, the Wharf Crossing South gate puzzle is solved, and players are free to enter the room that was blocked. In that room, Dragon Age fans will find some documents that they can read, a Codex entry that they can collect, and a chest that they can open.
