Summary

  • Mages are the most popular class among Dragon Age: The Veilguard players, followed by Rogues and Warriors.
  • Humans and Elves are the most favored races in the game, with the majority of players choosing these options.
  • BioWare has no plans for DLC for Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

BioWare has revealed some interesting stats for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, revealing the game's most popular classes and races. Dragon Age: The Veilguard was released at the end of October to mostly positive reviews. Many have hailed it as yet another solid entry in BioWare's long-running fantasy franchise, with many hardcore fans having already played through the game.

Like other Dragon Age games, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is full of choices for players to make over the course of their adventure. The earliest choices players make involve the creation of their character. Dragon Age: The Veilguard players have to design what their characters look like, what class they are, and what lineage they belong to. BioWare has now revealed the most popular classes and races in the game so far.

As revealed by BioWare, Dragon Age: The Veilguard players most often choose to play as Mages, with 40% of players choosing that class. Rogue and Warrior are tied at 30% apiece. As far as races go, Human is the most popular at 43%, followed by Elf at 40%, Qunari at 11%, and Dwarf at 6%. Clearly, the vast majority of Dragon Age: The Veilguard players want to be a Human or an Elf, with very little interest in the Qunari and Dwarf races.

Classes

  • Mage - 40%
  • Rogue - 30%
  • Warrior - 30%

Races

  • Human - 43%
  • Elf - 40%
  • Qunari - 11%
  • Dwarf - 6%

Of course, these stats are based on how early adopters are playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and so it's entirely possible that the most popular classes and races will change in the future. Dragon Age: The Veilguard encourages multiple playthroughs, and so early adopters making new choices could also have an impact on this data. That being said, once players have had their fill of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, there really isn't going to be much to draw them back to the game.

BioWare has confirmed that there are no plans for Dragon Age: The Veilguard DLC, which means that there won't be new classes or races to take into account whenever these stats are updated in the future. This is good news for fans that don't care for post-launch expansions and Mass Effect fans that are excited for BioWare to move on to the next game in that series, but it's definitely a bummer for hardcore Dragon Age fans that want more of Veilguard.
