Dragon Ball DAIMA Reveals New Trailer
While there hasn't been much information about the upcoming Dragon Ball DAIMA, a new trailer reveals that it'll broadcast in October.
Who Are The New Characters?
Introducing Three New Faces
Since its initial announcement, Dragon Ball DAIMA saw a character trailer released for Goku, but there hasn't been much in the way of information for the series, the marketing of which has left much to be desired. The trailer released on Friday showed a few new faces and now with the character designs officially revealed, we can put names to the faces. From left to right, the visual includes: Gomah, whom we can assume is the mysterious figure who was watching Goku and the others as they fought against Majin Buu; a masked character simply designated "Masked Majin"; Glorio; followed by mini versions of Goku, Supreme Kai, Kibito, Vegeta and Piccolo; who is interestingly the same height as the others in his diminutive form. The initial Dragon Ball DAIMA trailer showed us glimpses of some of the other cast members, who have also been made smaller by the same "conspiracy".
Some fans have noted a similarity between Glorio and Mira from the Dragon Ball Xenoverse games, which makes some sense considering their featuring of an antagonist who was Demon King Dabura's sister. At this point, the only cast information available for the upcoming series is Goku's legacy voice actor reprising her role as the iconic character, but we can surely expect to learn more about Dragon Ball DAIMA in the following weeks. Dragon Ball DAIMA is set to premiere in October, forming part of an immensely stacked Fall season for anime.
