The Demon Realm is a very interesting place that seems to have many parallels to the universe itself. One of the most interesting of these aspects are the Medi-Bugs that can be found in the shops of this realm which are quite varied in terms of application. Some can completely restore the user's health and stamina while there are others that can heal headaches.
However, the most interesting of these are the Join Bugs, which allow two people to fuse into a singularly powerful warrior upon eating two halves. Nothing is currently known about the nature of the fusion nor its strength, but seeing as how Goku took some Join Bugs, Daima seems to be implying that fans will see him and Vegeta use them to fuse towards the end of the series.

How This Fusion Could Be The Strongest
A Superior Fusion Method
It's implied that Goku and Vegeta will eventually fuse once again towards the end of Dragon Ball Daima by using the Join Bugs, so fans of the franchise are already very hyped to see how this will play out. Currently, there are two known methods of fusion that the Saiyans have used before in the series; the Potara Earrings and the Metamoran Fusion Dance.
The Potara Earrings are used by the Kais and, when a pair is worn by two people on different ears, the characters quickly join into a singularly powerful warrior who is far stronger than either of their constituents. In the case of Goku and Vegeta, they combine to form Vegito, who is an exceptionally powerful warrior. However, the main drawback here is that once they fuse using the Potara Earrings, too much power output can undo the fusion since the Earrings can't handle it, as seen in Vegito Blue versus Merged Zamasu.
Conversely, the other fusion method is the Metamoran Fusion Dance, which fuses the two warriors after they perform a mirrored dance to form a combatant just as strong as their Potara counterpart. However, unlike the Potara Earrings, the Fusion Dance is incredibly stable and lasts for 30 full minutes regardless of the power output, making this the better form in terms of surety. However, the caveat here is that the Fusion Dance itself has to be performed perfectly by both people and even a slight mishap can form a 'wrong' fusion that can only be undone after the 30-minute mark, making the Potara Earrings the convenient and quick option.
Here lies the opportunity for the Join Bugs to have all the advantages of each fusion method without the disadvantages. Since they have to be eaten to cause the fusion, they have the convenience of the Potara Earrings. But, if they can keep the fusion going for a fixed amount of time, regardless of the power output, they have the benefits of the fusion dance.
It's a simple technique, but we have to harmonize our spiritual energies or it won't work.
Like this, the Join Bugs have the perfect opportunity to become the quintessential fusion option going into the future. Seeing how Vegito and Gogeta are equal in terms of strength, the same can be said for the new fusion born from the Join Bugs. It's currently unconfirmed whether a new fusion will be born at all, so if this is not the case, the Join Bugs could simply act as an easier means of bringing forth either of the two previous fusions as well.
Although the new fusion wouldn't technically be stronger, since there is no evidence of the Join Bugs increasing strength more than what the Potara or Fusion Dance do, they would easily become the preferred and definitive method of fusion going forward.
