Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft have confirmed another batch of characters for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, with all 15 of these fighters originating from Dragon Ball GT. As Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero's October 11 release date draws closer, fans have been getting reveal trailers about its diverse roster, which is spread across Dragon Ball's vast history. While most of the characters confirmed for Sparking Zero are popular picks, like Goku, Piccolo, and Vegeta, the game is also adding a number of underrated characters from Dragon Ball Z and Super, such as Cui, Bergamo, and Kakunsa.

With such a heavy focus on fighters originating from Dragon Ball Z and Super, many fans were worried that content from Dragon Ball GT might not make it into the game, or be regulated to DLC. While Goku's voice actor teased GT content in Sparking Zero, characters from the show were absent in many of the game's themed trailers, such as the ones that focused on the fusion forms. But now the latest trailer has confirmed that Dragon Ball GT characters are coming to the game.

The first fighter confirmed in this new trailer is another form of Goku, Goku (GT), who is a child due to a wish that Pilaf made on the Black Star Dragon Balls. The trailer also confirmed that Goku's granddaughter, Pan, will also be playable, sporting the attire she wore during GT as well. GT Goku's Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 3, and iconic Super Saiyan 4 form were also confirmed to be in the game, showing him fighting off against Baby Vegeta. Baby is a villain from GT who takes over Vegeta's body.

The GT version of Uub and his transformation into Majuub was also confirmed to be playable as well, using attacks inspired by his appearance in the show. The trailer also highlights characters who originate from the final arc of Dragon Ball GT: the final Shadow Dragon, Syn Shenron, along with his transformation into Omega Shenron. GT Vegeta in his Super Saiyan 4 form was also confirmed, followed by the fusion of Goku and Vegeta into Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, who was a high-tier character in Budokai Tenakichi 3. Strangely, Super 17, the villain of the arc in-between the Baby and Shadow Dragon arcs of GT, is absent from this trailer.

Only 10 slots remain for the playable roster of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. Seeing that Dragon Ball Super is the only show to not have its own dedicated trailer yet, most fans are betting the final trailer before launch will be focused on them.
