Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will be adding Vegeta (Mini) and Glorio from Dragon Ball Daima to its already impressive roster of characters as the second installment of its DLC content. Both of the upcoming characters in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will arrive sometime in early 2025.
The Dragon Ball franchise has been around since 1984 and includes seven anime series, including a remastered version of Dragon Ball Z called Dragon Ball Z Kai, as well as numerous movies. The newest animated series in the franchise, Dragon Ball Daima was released globally on October 11. Only two episodes have been released so far, but the series has already captured fans' attention, with a plot that involves new Demon Realm King Gomah transforming Goku and the other heroes into children.
Bandai Namco has released a new trailer showcasing the two upcoming fighters and teasing that more are yet to be revealed. No in-game images are shown for either of the Dragon Ball Daima characters, with the trailer instead displaying their still, hand-drawn images. According to the Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero DLC release schedule released by the publisher about a week ago, both the first and second sets of DLC characters are scheduled to arrive in the first quarter of 2025, with a third set to follow in the year's second quarter.
DLC Characters Announced for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero So Far
- Gamma 1
- Gamma 2
- Vegeta (Mini)
- Glorio
A previous reveal showed the first set of DLC characters in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero to be Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, a powerful pair of Red Ribbon Army androids introduced in the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie. While the reveals from Bandai Namco have given players a look at a couple of the characters that will be revealed in the first two DLC launches, they also state that more characters are on the way in those packs, so there are still plenty of surprises ahead of their release in early 2025.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero launched with more than 180 playable characters, the largest roster in the Budokai Tenkaichi series' history, although many of those fighters are different versions of the same character as seen throughout the manga and anime series' lengthy run. With the addition of Vegeta (Mini), players will be able to choose from 15 different versions of Vegeta in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, and that's not even counting all of his fusion forms.
