Bandai Namco and Dimps have announced that Goku (Mini) from Dragon Ball Daima will be added to the roster of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 in the upcoming second chapter of the game's Future Saga DLC expansion. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is still getting support to this day, as Dimps and Bandai Namco have been periodically adding new content to the game, with both paid and free updates. Some of the most recent content added to Xenoverse 2 over the years include Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero versions of Videl and Gohan, along with Gohan's Beast transformation from the same film for customizable characters.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is focused on a new four-part expansion known as the Future Saga, where the villainous Fu is doing experiments on the Dragon Ball timeline that result in a variety of What If matchups. The first chapter of this expansion was released earlier this May, featuring branches of canon events, like Universe 6 intervening in the battle against Goku Black, or Vegeta obtaining the Super Saiyan God form at the same time as Goku. The second chapter of the Future Saga teases a matchup between the Gods of Destruction and Pride Troopers from Super.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Teases DLC 2

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero reveals two DLC new characters planned for release in 2025, along with Dragon Ball Daima content.

Chapter 2 of Xenoverse 2's Future Saga DLC will also have content based on Dragon Ball Daima. A new trailer from Bandai Namco reveals that Goku (Mini) will be added to Xenoverse 2's roster, with his move set being focused on his appearance in the new anime. Goku (Mini)'s move set relies on his trusty Power Pole, which can extend the reach of his attacks. A new equipable skill based on one of Goku (Mini)'s rush attacks will be available for the player's custom character as well, letting them use Goku's trusty pole to attack their foes. While a release date for Chapter 2 of the Future Saga hasn't been announced yet, there will be a limited free trial campaign that gives players access to Goku (Mini).

Goku (Mini) Will Join Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2's roster in Chapter 2 of the Future Saga DLC

Dragon Ball Daima's plot revolves around Goku and his friends being de-aged to young children due to a wish made on the Earth's Dragon Balls by the Demon King Gomah. Goku and friends have to find a way to undo the wish, while meeting new characters like Glorio along the way.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 isn't the only game that will be getting Daima-themed content. Sparking Zero's Season Pass is getting fighters like Vegeta (Mini) and Glorio, while Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is also getting DLC based on Daima, where Goku and friends have to explore the Demon Realm, just like the anime. Fans are very excited about trying out the new content for all three of these games, especially the next chapter of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2's Future Saga DLC.
