There are many areas to explore upon visiting the capital of Vermund, Vernworth, in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Players can buy all sorts of items from the Merchant Quarter, buy a house in the Common Quarter, or even steal some valuables in the Noble Quarter.
However, there is one more area in the Vernworth that is tied to one of the main quests, and it’s The Slums. How To Trigger The Heel of History Quest In Dragon’s Dogma 2
To trigger the Heel of History quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2, players must donate 1000 Gold and food to Father Kendrick. The Gracious Hand’s priest will be standing in the Slums trying to collect donations to help the church. After the donation, Kendrick will ask Arisens to help him locate Malcolm's whereabouts as he has gone missing.
Ask the children of the Gracious Hand church to see if anyone knows his whereabouts. Players should ask the following kids to complete this step:
- Aimee - Can be found inside (night) or in front (morning) of the Gracious Hand.
- Harvey - Can be found rummaging the ground in front of the Gracious Hand.
- Rick - Can be found looking out at the sea west of the Gracious Hand.
After talking to the children, players will learn that Malcolm has been fond of exploring lately, especially in the Gracious Hands’ Vaults. Report back to Father Kendrick, and he will lead you to the blocked Vault’s entrance, where he suspects he will find Malcolm. Next, he will clear the way for players, so they can gain access to the Gracious Hands’ Vaults in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Where To Find Malcolm
After Kendrick clears the rubble, players can venture forward and begin the search for Malcolm’s whereabouts. Inside, Arisens will find Malcolm exploring the Gracious Hands’ Vaults first floor. Afterward, the little boy will ask players and Father Kendrick to follow him to see his huge discovery. Following Malcolm will lead to the discovery of the archive in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
