Dragon's Dogma 2 Vocations like Sorcerer, Mage, and Trickster won’t be able to sever the head as they don’t attack with weapons, but with spells. While a Sorcerer may be able to burn Medusa to a crisp, her head will stay attached to her body, locking players from obtaining a powerful item.
