Blue Hand	The player's main pawn has knowledge of the quest
Orange Hand with Roman Numeral "I"	The first hired pawn has knowledge of the quest
Orange Hand with Roman Numeral "II"	The second hired pawn has knowledge of the quest

With respect to exactly what it means for a pawn to have knowledge of a quest, that status allows them to lead Dragon's Dogma 2's Arisen to quest objectives. Indeed, if a player sets a quest with a hand icon as their primary quest and then instructs their pawns to "go," they will find that the knowledgeable pawn springs into action.
