Scaly Invaders Dragon's Dogma 2 Guide

The Scaly Invaders side quest in Dragon's Dogma 2 was given to us during our playthrough after rescuing the soldiers in Harve Village for Captain Brant's Monster Culling quest.

Starting Scaly Invaders in DD2

Before leaving Stormwind Cave in the village, an early-game Beastren NPC named Fyoran tells the Arisen that the village is currently crawling with monsters—Saurians, to be exact.

Fyoran claims the village didn't always use to be like this and doesn't think they'll be able to take down the monsters, but that's where you come in. This will commence the Scaly Invaders side quest in Dragon's Dogma 2 --the first step is to defeat the Saurians that plague the village.

Scaly Invaders Quest Walkthrough

Head into the main part of the village and fight any Saurians hanging about. Once they are all dead and gone, Fyoran will approach you to thank you for your hard work. He also tells the Arisen to come back in a few days so that he has time to help restore the village to its normal self.

We tried napping on the bench a couple of times to initiate the next part of the quest, but we ended up just leaving the village and going about our adventure, returning in about 5 to 7 days. Once we came into the village, Fyoran approached us and said that more Saurians had attacked the village. Again, deal with the uninvited guests and return to the quest giver for a nice reward.

As a reward for helping out with the monsters, the Arisen will be rewarded with the following:

How to Fix Scaly Invaders Bug in DD2

Some players seem to be facing issues completing the Scaly Invaders quest in Dragon's Dogma 2. In some cases, the quest giver, Fyoran, dies before the quest can be completed. In this case, there is a way to revive NPCs that have died in DD2.
