There are various ways to customize your boat in Dredge, from flags to bunting and different paint colors for the roof and hull. As you venture deeper into the archipelago, there are several flags to find and deliver to Dredg e's resident Painter in Little Marrow, who can change your boat decor and add one of the seven flags. However, with numerous collectibles and pursuits in the game, you might wonder where to find all the flags in Dredge and how to get each one.
To get all the flags in Dredge, you'll also need to ensure you've already got a Dredge Crane installed onto your boat from the Collector NPC at Blackstone Isle. If you're eager to give your boat a different look or want to grab all possible collectibles in the game, this guide on how to find all flag locations in Dredge lights the way.

Players that are interested in unlocking photo mode can find details on the location of Dredge's photographer in this short guide.
Where To Find All Flags In Dredge (All Flag Locations)
When you first meet the Painter in Little Marrow, he'll give you a flag for free. However, there are seven flags to unlock in Dredge overall, with six more flags to find around the map in the following locations:
Fish Flag - Free from the Painter at Little Marrow in The Marrows
The Fish Flag is a free flag given to you by the Painter when visiting Little Marrow in Dredge at point K-8 on the map. The Fish Flag is a light blue flag with a fish symbol design. If you select the 'Change flag' option when speaking to the Painter, you can get him to set it to the top of your boat immediately. However, there are six more flags to fish up on your travels from 'Shapes of Water' dredge spots using the Dredge Crane on your boat. Once you've found a flag, deliver it to the Painter at Little Marrow to add it to your available flag options.
Sea Serpent Flag - West of Steel Point in The Marrows
To find the Sea Serpent Flag in Dredge, you'll need to sail to the two islands west of Steel Point in the north of The Marrows, with Steel Point being a good place to farm Lumber and Metal Scraps. Look for the orange glow in the water left of the island at the bottom around point I-10 on the map and dredge in the orange spot until you grab the flag, adding it to your cargo.
You may also come across the Courier boat nearby on the second island, which wants you to deliver a mysterious, slimy package to the Dockworker at Little Marrow.
Ouroboros Flag - South of Blackstone Isle in The Marrows
Another flag in The Marrows is the Ouroboros Flag, which you can find just south of Blackstone Isle and below Little Marrow, at point L-5, where you may also start to spot valuable, oceanic fish along the way. Continue south past Blackstone Isle until you reach the two small islands. You can find the Ouroboros Flag next to the larger of the two islands. It's a bright red flag with a sea serpent design, so it's an ideal choice if you're a fan of sea monster encounters in the game.
Anchor Flag - South of the Research Outpost in Stellar Basin
To get the Anchor Flag, you'll need to head southwest of The Marrows to the south of the Stella Basin map area at point G-2 on the map. To break up the journey, you can rest at Blackstone Isle in The Marrows and the Research Outpost north of Stella Basin. Head south from the Research Outpost past the jellyfish to find the Anchor Flag in the orange dredge spot above the shipwreck east of the island below the Outpost. The Anchor Flag is orange with an anchor symbol.
Dredge: All Hooded Figure Locations
Find all of Dredge's mysterious Hooded Figures, and complete their quests.
Hook Flag - East of Rickety Pontoon in the Twisted Strand
Twisted Strand in Dredge hides various collectibles, including several dog tag locations. However, you can also find the Hook Flag east of Rickety Pontoon in the Twisted Strand region around point H/I-13 north of the map. Look for the group of three islands to the east to grab the Hook Flag by dredging in the orange spot at the bottom of the smallest island. The Hook Flag is a teal green flag with an angled edge and a fishing hook symbol.
Pirate Flag - Southeast of Ingfell in the Gale Cliffs
If you're after a classic pirate look, you may want to get your hands on the Pirate Flag in Dredge as soon as possible, which features a universally recognizable skull and crossbones design. To get the Pirate Flag, sail southeast to the Gale Cliffs region and head southeast past Ingfell until you reach point N-2 on the map.
Once there, look for the orange spot in the water by the shipwreck near the third island to the south and dredge there to grab the Pirate Flag. However, watch out for the nearby Gale Cliffs Serpent, which wants to take a chunk out of your boat and the waterspouts.
Eyes Flag - North of the Devil's Spine
The Eyes Flag in Dredge is like the ever-watching panic eyeball at the top of the screen, featuring a creepy set of eyes on a crimson, ripped background. To get this eye-catching flag, you'll have to travel northeast to point P-14/15 in the Devil's Spine. Once again, you'll need to search for the orange spot in the water to locate and dredge for the Eyes Flag, which you can find next to the fourth island at the top of the Devil's Spine.
Head north of the Ancient Temple and then northeast through the Ancient Ruins and past the ruined arch to find the orange dredge spot containing the Eyes Flag. However, watch out for the deadly Fire Fish monster lurking nearby, which makes this flag perhaps the hardest one to get.
