The Fourth Trial of Aql quest continues the player's search for the Fremen in Dune: Awakening, and it also unlocks a core component of the overall experience: the ability to use Spice. One should consider this as a priority quest, as unlocking Spice opens up a ton of options when it comes to fighting.
Like the previous Trials of Aql in Dune: Awakening, this one involves a dream segment that players must complete to finish the quest, and like its predecessors, finding this trial is going to be tricky if you aren't the type to thoroughly explore areas. If you're wondering how to start and what to do in the Fourth Trial of Aql, here's a guide to help you out.

Where to Find the Fourth Trial of Aql in Dune: Awakening
You can find the Fourth Trial of Aql altar in a cave tunnel system inside the Mirzabah's Head, which is also known as the Hammer. It's easy enough to spot — the Hammer is the tallest rock spire in the Vermillius Gap region, the one with the hammer-shaped head.
To reach Mirzabah's Head, you'll have to climb up the spire and look for a rock pathway leading up to the cave tunnels. The best way to scale any sort of tall obstacle in Dune: Awakening is to use the Shigawire Claw from the Trooper skill tree together with a Leap Suspensor Belt. Pull yourself up with the Shigawire Claw, and as you're ascending, hold your Jump button to activate your Suspensor Belt. This will launch you a significant distance upward.
To start the Fourth Trial of Aql, you need to finish the third one first. You can get to the latter by going to the Cave of the Lost Pilgrim in Western Vermillius Gap. There is no Spice altar/dream segment there, and all you need to do to finish it is visit the location.
Fourth Trial of Aql Walkthrough
The goal in the fourth trial is simple: step into the arena, pick up the Crysknife, then fight the sand people that approach. They seem to be endless, but that's sort of the point — you will eventually lose, and after that, a cutscene will play. Once you come to your senses, you'll be supercharged with Spice.
When you're all Spiced-up, your eyes will glow purple, your skill cooldowns will be shorter, and you'll deal more damage. During the fourth trial, you'll be given Swordmaster skills to play with — use your newfound power to defeat more sand people, and once you beat enough of them, the path forward will unlock. Reach the end to wake from the dream.
Apart from unlocking Spice, you'll also get the crafting schematic for the Unfixed Crysknife, a melee weapon that deals extreme damage. However, it breaks after one swing. Consider bringing one for when you find yourself in a tussle with another player.
