At first, equippable items in Dune: Awakening will be assigned to the loadout menu automatically, since there are empty slots. But after the loadout gets full, obtained items will simply sit in the inventory until players equip them manually. So here's how to change the loadout wheel to equip items or Emote in Dune: Awakening.
How To Unlock The Trooper Skill Tree In Dune Awakening
Although players must pick a training background at the beginning of Dune: Awakening, they can eventually unlock the other available Skill Trees.
How To Change Loadout Wheel In Dune Awakening
To change the loadout wheel in Dune: Awakening, players must head to the menu, then choose Inventory from the top of the screen. There, they can see all their equipped items and change them if necessary. To change the gears inside the loadout, simply drag the item to (or from) the desired slot. The Inventory section also allows players to check their character stats and see their affiliation status.
Keep in mind that the menu consists of many tabs other than the Inventory tab, so when opening the menu, players won't immediately land on the Inventory section. The other available tabs include Map, Crafting, Research, Skills, Journey, and Customization.
How To Change Emote Loadout In Dune Awakening
Players can change equipped Emotes in Dune: Awakening by switching between the Inventory section using A (PC), LT (Xbox controller), or L2 (PS controller). Then, press C (PC), Y (Xbox controller), or Triangle (PS controller) to move from the loadout section to the Emote page.
How To Equip Armor In Dune Awakening
Unlike active items (weapons, tools, and consumables), armor and other passive utilities such as Power Pack and Suspensor Belt are equipped from the Character section of the Inventory screen. The process of equipping them is the same, though. Simply drag the items to wear or remove them.
Power Pack is used to activate equipment that needs power, like the Cutteray Mk1. Meanwhile, the Suspensor Belt is useful for avoiding fall damage and enabling other jump-related utilities such as floating.
If players wish to customize how their armor looks in Dune: Awakening, they can utilize the Customization tab. Pick which equipment they want to customize, then choose the pattern they desire. Sadly, there's only a limited variation and patterns, so players can't go all out on their flair.
How To Get More Equipment In Dune Awakening
To get more equipment in Dune: Awakening, there are different things players can do.
- Research how to craft items from the Research tab. Keep in mind that this requires Intel points in Dune: Awakening.
- Loot new items from enemies, camps, caves, or labs.
- Find Schematics (blueprints) from specific places. Next, open the inventory and learn the blueprint to unlock them on the Fabricator.
