Intel points are a crucial material you can collect while exploring Arrakis in Dune: Awakening. It works like a currency that you can spend to unlock more stuff to facilitate your journey. It can be weapons, machines, or armor that become accessible after spending some Intel points.

Unlike other materials that can be bought from the Tradepost or found inside chests while raiding small enemy camps in Dune: Awakening, Intel points are scattered around the Arrakis in physical form. To get Intel points in Dune: Awakening, you need to search inside Enemy Outposts in Arrakis or level up. Enemy Outposts can be seen on the map as an icon with three small houses. These are large enemy camps that contain a lot of good loot but are equally guarded by many bandits. One of the best loots you can find inside is Intel points, which are a hologram, usually hidden in corners. Players need to search the Camp Outpost thoroughly to find the hologram.

By progressing through the main story and completing the main quests, you will eventually unlock the Surveying Kit. After launching the Survey Probe from a high place using the Launcher, the hidden part of the map will unlock, and most areas of interest will appear.
