Dune: Awakening features a gigantic map divided into different biomes that players will gradually visit as they progress their character. Where to Find the Ornithopter Pilot for Fast Travel in Dune Awakening
Players can fast travel in Dune Awakening using the dedicated Taxi Service offered by the Omnithopter Pilot. The Omnithopter Pilot can be found within major cities and tradeposts, and will be able to take you from one location to another for some Solari (currency).
In the early game, you can find the Omnithopter Pilot inside the Griffin's Reach base, which is the first major tradepost you'll visit. The location is in the Hagga Basin South, just up the cliff that's illuminated by spotlights at night. Once you approach the tower, head inside, and you'll spot a pilot standing beside a hologram of an Ornithopter. Talk to the pilot, and you'll unlock the Taxi Service for fast travel in Dune Awakening.
Players will need to pay 2,500 Solari to fast travel to maps outside the Hagga Basin, and 700 Solari if they need to simply travel to another tadepost or city from another biome (within the Hagga Basin).
How to Unlock More Fast Travel Points?
After choosing the "I want you to fly me somewhere" dialog option, you'll first have to select the region/areas where you need to travel. These regions include Hagga Basin, Arrakeen, and the Harko Village. Once the region is selected, choose the specific tradepost or city to fast travel to within said region.
At the beginning, there wouldn't be many locations available for you to fast travel. This is because you'll need to visit the tradeposts and cities in a region first before they're unlocked as fast travel points in Dune Awakening. Once you progress through the game enough and discover other tradeposts, those locations will be added as fast travel points to the Taxi Service menu.
